Ok, so I know that I haven't put anything on here for a while, and the reason is I have been busy moving our life from one house to another! So bear with me as we move. I also don't have internet at the new house, or a computer so my posts might be more spread out for a while. We are loving the new house, finding a place to put everything. I am sad about leaving my mom and brother, but we will learn to live with out the extra help!!! Pray for us that John can find a job so that we can pay for this new house!

Welcome to the neighborhood!!! Wow, it sure does look a lot different than it did when John and I grew up. I suppose he'd probably say the same about my parents' house. Did they ever tell you the story about how the roof was built? Don't quote me as having the facts straight, but I guess they were having a hard time figuring out how to build the rafters because, back then, they didn't have premade ones. I'm thinking it was our great-grandpa (again don't quote me!) that came and made out a pattern for them to follow. None of the guys really expected it to work, but it matched up perfectly. I guess he was a pretty smart guy. You'll have to ask Lavern for the exact version, but it was a neat story. Anyway, congrats on the house! Praying for a job! Steph
