Prayer Request for MckMuffin (Stellan)

This is a prayer request for someone that I found out through another friend's blog. She is now pregnant with her fourth baby, a little boy, Stellan. Their story is here. I will let you all go check it out as the story is pretty lengthy. In short, the baby is having problems with his heart and they are having a hard time getting his heart fixed while he is still inside the womb, because of the mom's heart, and he is still to little to be born.

Finally time to upload pics! Enjoy

Nevaeh opening one of her birthday presents from Mommy and Daddy. I think this one was some bubble bath or soap of her own...
Another present from Mommy and Daddy, this one was "Brown Bear" from the book "Brown Bear, Brown Bear What do you see?" She also got the book!
Color crayons and a notebook to color in. She was more interested in how fast she could get the paper off the presents than she was of what was inside the paper!
Nevaeh and her "bear cake" I think it turned out really cute! We were going to write "Happy Birthday Nevaeh" on the belly, but at the last minute decided not to.
Wyatte was sooo excited to catch this fish, it was a huge sunny!!!
Daddy helping Wyatte hold the fish
Wyatte and Daddy on the dock
Nevaeh at the beach. She had more sand in her swimsuit than I have ever seen. She didn't really enjoy the water, but she loved being in the sand!
Wyatte was looking for seashells. He did find a whole slew of them, but I made him leave them there so that other kids could find them. He was very mad at me...

I can't get these pics to come up in the right order, so sorry but they are a little random in how they are showing up on here...

Wyatte helping put Aubrie to sleep. She actually laid there with him for a long time and fell asleep!!!
Fishing with Daddy.
Running on the dock! I know that she shouldn't have been because she falls really easy, but she was having sooo much fun!
Fishing
Nevaeh wanted to hold the fish that Wyatte caught until Daddy tried to put it in her hand and then she freaked out!

I am going to finish packing this week and hopefully start the cleaning.

so a short update, but now that we are living here I will be able to get more done at the apt. the kids can stay here while I clean. we won't be dirtying dishes and taking toys out and all that fun stuff!!!

Bear Party

Lots going on with no time to let you know it all but here is what I made for Nevaeh's birthday party that we are having shortly today... Ok, so my mom baked the cake, but I decorated it!!!
The eyes are (white part) wintergreen lifesavers, and (blue part) sour skittles. I used the sour ones because there is some sugar looking stuff on the outside that makes them look like the eyes are sparkling! The nose is a milk dud. The mouth is made of string licorice and the tongue is part of a roll of fruit by the foot. There are pink sprinkles in the ears, and then bows out of some more fruit by the foot. The claws are butterscotch chips! TOO CUTE RIGHT!!!! Nevaeh asked me for a bear party and found this so...

For the meal we are going to be eating the bottom picture. Right now it is just the bread, but in a few minutes it will be filled with different kinds of meats and cheeses and other yummy sandwich stuff.

We are also going enjoy gummy bears, some mixed fruit and nuts (bears like to eat fruits and nuts!!!) some salads (these were John's idea...) and then Great grandma Margaret is going to be bringing the ice cream! I think that is it...

Anyways I will post more pics of the presents and stuff when I get another chance to get on the computer!

Memory Game

One of the blogs that I like to visit has this following as a post...

1. As a comment on my blog, leave a memory that you and I have had together. It doesn't matter if you know me a little or alot, anything you remember! Let me know you check my blog!!!

2.Next, repost these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It is actually pretty funny to see the responses.

If you leave a comment about me, I will assume that you are playing the game and I will come to your blog and leave a comment about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I will leave a comment about you in my comments.

So I left her a comment and am hoping that she will come visit me! I am also hoping that all of you love me enough to let me know what you remember about our relationship!

Nevaeh

Isn't she absolutely the cutest 2 year old girl you have ever met!!!!!!!!!! Ok, so there are a few others that are as cute, but she is more beautiful to me than all of them. In a few short days my oldest daughter will be 2 years old. She is becoming more and more independent. She can say anything she wants to, even if I don't want her to! She is still accident prone, but I don't think that will last too much longer. She has to grow out of that soon right! She loves to eat, drink out of a big girl cup. She is semi potty trained, which means I go through tons of diapers because she know when she is wet and wants it off! She tries very hard to keep up with her brother and seems to want Aubrie to grow up so they can play together.

I am looking forward to spending the rest of her life getting to know her.

Yea for unemptied recycle bins on the computer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last couple of days

She got brave in the water and actually sat down quite a bit. It was fun to see her enjoy her self so much.
Can you beleive that she is almost 2? Next Friday she will officially be two! The time has just flown by.
Doing the crab walk in the water!
Helping Mommy water my flowers
Cute face on the way home from the lake! This was taken on the way home, but for some reason it won't move from the middle of my lake pics!
They were trying to catch the duck that you see in the upper corner! They kept walking closer to it and it kept swimming closer to them! Fun to see one sooo close!
I was trying to take a cute pic of Aubrie, but apparently the camera moved so I just got a little bit of her face!
Wyatte got really brave this trip to the lake and was swimming on his stomach!
Aubrie looked sooooo cute folding her hand in her sleep that I couldn't pass it up. They are taken at the same time just two different settings on the camera. I am trying to learn what they all do. Keep checking back to see what I find!

The picture above this writing and the one below it are of the same cloud. Just two different settings on my camera. I just liked the way they looked!

A beautiful sunset last night, I couldn't resist!

Just today

Today we went to see my dad and help him with some stuff on the computer. The kids also got to see the little chickens! They were pretty excited about that. I forgot my camera at home and so I don't have any pics, sorry. We called Miss Heidi while we were there to see if her and her boys wanted to come out and see them too. The twins loved it! My dad took three of them out of the coup and put them in a bucket so the kids could be closer to them. They got to hold them also! That was pretty cool. Nevaeh was showing off as usual right now. The twins got to go in the turkey pen too. The turkeys are almost as big as the kids are!!!

After that fun we came home for a nap. All four of us. I started doing a paper route for the Duluth News Tribune and this morning I got up at 2 AM. I got home a little after 5 AM and slept until 7:30 AM, so I got some sleep back. But by nap time I was exhausted!!! So I got a couple more hours of sleep, and now feel better. The people that are going to be moving into the apartment that we are moving out of were bringing stuff over here today and putting it in storage in the garage and they opened the garage door (right under us--we live above the garage...) and woke me up. I guess that was God's way of telling me that I slept enough! Thankfully the kids stayed asleep. So I got up and started packing a little more. I have at least another van full of boxes ready to go. So much stuff that we don't use.... I did pack up our movies and all the equipment that goes with them, so TV for a while it is. I was thinking that maybe we should take the TV down too and get some more family time in, but we will see.

Tomorrow is park day again. We are going to a park that I have never even heard of, so it should be interesting for all of us! I am really looking forward to the time visiting with the moms.

Keep us in your prayers as we consider options in where we are going to live.

National Help your Brother Day..

I have officially nominated this day for National Help your Brother Day!!! No, I don't think this is a real holiday, but after today I think it should be!

My mom called this morning a little before 8 and asked what we were doing. "Getting ready for church," I told her, "Why?"

"Paul fell asleep on his way home from work and put his car in the ditch and I was wondering if you guys/John could go look at it before we call a tow truck," She replied.

After a while we decided that John could go, and he headed out there. Dad was also headed out there. To make a long story short, they got the car out and it still runs and Paul is ok!

Then tonight Phil calls me, which never happens!!! He asked why I didn't answer the cell phone. It was in the van... he then asks me if we could do him a huge favor... His friend Mark was riding his bike from Bemedji to my mom's house to stay for the night before he headed to Duluth. He was having trouble with the bike and was on the GR side of Bena. "Could one of us go get him?" So I headed out with the Jeep, and by this time Mark was in Deer River, which is closer than Bena so that worked out nice! So I picked him up and headed to my mom's to drop him off!

So now I just need to pray that Kirk doesn't call me needing help because I am going to bed!!!!

July 5, 2008

These are a few of the pics that didn't turn out as good, or whatever! There are some better ones that I posted last night!!!

These were all made by my great uncle. They are all made of wood, and clear varnish! Aren't they beautiful!!!

Our 4th of July!!!

This is what Nevaeh looked like when we left the house! She has on a dress from last summer that she now wears as a shirt! It is sooo cute on her! The bandanna in her hair came with the dress, and she has never liked them. I thought maybe this year she would wear it, but no go. She left it in long enough to take a picture and that was about it! I put her hair in pigtails after this and they stayed in all day.
This was taken at the lend of the day, but for some reason won't post there... Anyways Uncle Kenny enjoying time with Aubrie. She looks so comfy!
My cousin Amy and I "wearing" our girls! They both slept very comfortably!!!
Aubrie got her turn in the water!!!
Nevaeh splashing around!!!
Nevaeh got her turn in Lylah's whale! She had a lot of fun!!!
Getting all ready to go for a boat ride.
Going for a ride in Great Uncle Albert's pontoon boat! Wyatte had fun, but Nevaeh cried for Mommy they said! (John was on the boat with them)
Uncle Kenny helping Wyatte feed Aubrie! Too cute!
Grandpa Stan showing Wyatte how to spin tops

These are the best pics that I have of today. I have a few others that I am going to add later, but need to head to bed now. So look for them tomorrow!!!

July 1, 2008

Finally...

Our house has been sooo hot lately that Nevaeh has taken to sleeping in the living room on our chair and ottoman. She looks pretty comfy huh!!!
Aubrie is growing up so fast, she can now roll from her back to her stomach, she learned how to do that in just a couple of days. Last Thursday night she did it at Bible study and has mastered it in the couple of days since then! She has been able to go from her stomach to her back pretty easy, but now is a master of both ways!!! Her she is just getting her neck muscles strengthened!!!
Such a big girl!!!
Always with the thumb in her mouth! Look at the semi smile and dimple on her cheek!!!
Wyatte riding his Spiderman bike, or at least attempting to!!!
Sunglasses and hat from visiting Bob the Builder. We got them while we were waiting in line
Isn't she toooo cute!
They were sooo good there, patiently waiting for Bob to come!
Isn't this sad?!?! She was tooo scared to go in the tent and jump that she just stood out side the door and watched everyone...Going down the slide in one of the bouncy tents!!!Wyatte had a ton of fun in the bouncy tents.Nevaeh enjoying her time on the slide!
Playing at the playground after we saw Bob the Builder. He was at the Blackwater Barge Festival in our little town of Cohasset!

So even though only one of you has voted in the "slide show vs. individual pics" poll, I am going with the only vote so far which is for individual pics, so that is why we are back to these! So the post is going to be really long with not a lot to say!!! Yeah for those of you that like to
